Isles of Capri Kayak Tour Naples Marco Island
Our tour leaves from the Capri Paddle Park on the beautiful Isles of Capri, just north of Marco Island. As you book your tour, online, pick from your choice of single or double, stable, recreational sit-in kayaks. You’ll take a leisurely paddle into the captivating, primitive, meandering mangrove trail wilderness. You will learn about a forest of trees that grows directly from the saltwater sea floor. Your skilled, experienced guide will explain why a thriving mangrove estuary is so important to protecting the inland environment and to supporting so many species of wildlife in the open sea. Depending upon weather and tides, as well as the wishes of the paddlers, this trip can be focused upon the mangrove trails and even some mangrove “tunnels” or can also include the white sand beaches of uninhabited islands on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. While we can never guarantee appearances of specific animals, paddlers typically can encounter dolphins, ospreys, ibises, terns, pelicans, cormorants, herons, egrets, eagles, rays, sea stars, live conchs, sea turtles, many species of fish and even manatees!
